Honey and Nut Kush Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup honey

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar

1 egg

1/4 cup water

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup flaked coconut

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, stir together the honey, whole wheat flour, and baking powder. Stir in the salt and ground nutmeg. Add the butter, brown sugar, and water. Stir together until well blended. Add the vanilla. Mix evenly, then add the rolled oats; mix just until combined. Press a small amount of mixture into the bottom of an unprepared prepared cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly toasted. Cool cookies in the pan on wire racks.
