Chicken Breast Noodle Soup Recipe


1 (16 ounce) package plastic jar soup mix

1 (2 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces

1 onion, cut into wedges

2 carrots, chopped

2 gallons chicken broth

3 cups water heated from microwave/pot or oven

spaghetti sauce (optional)


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Mix together soup mix with noodles. Place chicken, onions, carrots, broth, water, and sauce ingredients in a steamer over 1 1/2 cups of water and cover completely.

Pour and steam vegetable/vegetable stock into 3 gallons pot or pressure cooker and bring to a boil. Lower temperature to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C), but do not boil. Simmer 5 minutes.
