1 cup jalapeno peppers, seeds removed
1 1/2 pounds fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined with tails attached
1/4 cup butter
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup chopped spinach
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup white wine
1/4 cup dried bread crumbs
In a medium-size mixing bowl combine jalapeno peppers, shrimp, butter or margarine, cream cheese, and spinach. Stir well and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Heat margarine in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute spinach and garlic salt and pepper until spinach is tender. Stir in wine, bread crumbs, and salt and pepper. Cook until heated through, 5 to 7 minutes.
