3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
2 tablespoons hard-boiled egg
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a 10x15 inch baking dish.
Place 1 egg in a medium saucepan, bring to a boil and remove from heat. In a small bowl, combine milk, honey, salt and eggs. Mix together and pour over egg mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 6 to 8 minutes, or until a knife inserted into a sandwich comes out clean. Turn sandwich out and cut into 1/2 inch thick slices.
To Make Mering Sauce: In a small saucepan, combine 2 tablespoons milk, 4 tablespoons honey, 2 teaspoons salt and 1/3 cup cheese. Heat over medium heat until melted. Remove from heat and whisk in egg and garlic powder. Remove from heat.
Place 1 sandwich onto warm plate and arrange 1/2 bread slices on bottom, 1/2 tomato slices on top and 1/2 pie slices of butter inside pastry bag.
Increase oven temperature to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and bake at 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) until golden, about 1 hour. Immediately before serving, top warm medium bowl of soup with hot egg and garlic and pour over warm sandwich.
