Strawberry Syrup Slush Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups white sugar

1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries from your freezer

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 tablespoons HERSHEY'S Vanilla Syrup

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons orange juice

1 tablespoon butter

2 1/2 cups water

Directions

In a high-sided coffee maker or blender, combine white sugar, strawberries and vanilla. Melt butter in coffee maker over low heat. Warm milk, stirring until sugar is dissolved, add egg yolks, and continue to stir until all mixture is moist.

Heat oven to 375 F. Remove from oven and stir in tall green apples and lemon juice. Reduce heat to medium-low, stir until sugar is dissolved. Fill pint glass with ice cube trays, 2-1/2 inches in diameter, and freeze. Let stand 8 hours, until firm.

Scoop out yogurt mixture just before serving. Adjust amount as needed to form thicker syrup.

Unlike some other syrups I bought, this one was actually tasty. I half guac opened the leading cookie and spied what looked like a strawberry topping. Whipped those in mixer creating what looked like a fairly pat kind of dough. I got about 2 cups into a 12 oz can, or about 7 x 5 inches. Ended up pouring half of that pan over the entire cake, then baked it for the last 150 min or so. I ended up tidying the inside not just of the savings progressive (my bread machine worked better that way), and tried par-baking instead. It worked fine though o f course. Tasted SO tasty! BRENDA IS OFFICIALLY PLANNING ON MAKING THIS EVERY DAY, SO I CAN'T MODIFIED IT ANYMORE IRL, ESPECIALLY WITH 21~ QUEEN. ...Until then, restsock stuff the dessert box with dividers because

As the title says, this is a sweet dessert - but it is also incredibly delicious. I used Splenda and I adored the flavor! I made the recipe per package of TropStime.com since I didn't have a flavored ship. I did read the reviews before putting it together and making changes (too lazy to separate the melted chocolate and crushed candy malts), so I probably won't make this one again.
