2 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crusts
2/3 cup white sugar
2 cups white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix and 2/3 of the sugar. Spread half of the mixture on the bottom of the baking dish, then layer the cooked and drained topping over it. Spread a layer of the whipped topping over the top, then layer the remaining whipped topping over that and spread a layer of the remaining mixture.
Bake for 60 to 65 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing from the pan to cool completely.
