2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried red chile peppers
1/2 cup saltine cracker crumbs
1/2 cup chopped onion
3 teaspoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried lemon zest
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
In a medium heat, brown the garlic in the olive oil. Add peppers, chile peppers, saltine cracker crumbs, onion, dry mustard, white sugar, lemon zest, salt and mustard powder. Mix well, reduce heat to medium.
Stir marinated meat into the mixture. Cover, and cook about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium low; simmer about 30 minutes, until meat is tender.
