Sweet and Sour Sausage Tarts Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound ground pork

1 1/2 pounds ground beef

1 pound ground pork

1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup melted butter

1 egg, beaten

1/4 cup wine vinegar

1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan.

In a heavy skillet over medium heat, brown and devein pork. Remove pork from the skillet and set aside. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, butter, egg, vinegar and hot pepper sauce.

Pour the ingredients into the over medium skillet. Whisk until well blended. Continue to cook until thickened.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch baking pan. Drizzle with oil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oven and brush with egg or vinegar.
