8 slices bacon, diced
3 ounces smoked salmon, chopped
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Heat bacon grease in large deep skillet over medium-high heat. Cook bacon until crisp; drain. Stir in smoked salmon and peanut butter; cook 2 minutes more.
Transfer to paper towels to cool.
Whip peanut butter and salt together in large bowl until smooth; gently fold into cooled mixture. Spread on baked pastry.
Bake 20 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven; brush with warm water before serving.
