1/2 head garlic, skinned and chopped
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast meat - cut into bite-size pieces
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried tarragon
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup heavy cream
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Place garlic in a shallow, shallow dish. Melted garlic will cook, so do not place in heated oven.
Combine chicken, lemon juice, basil, tarragon, ground black pepper, cream and basil in a dish and pour over garlic. Pour over chicken and pour over the garlic.
Bake in preheated oven until golden, about 15 minutes.
