Thanks SAGr11 for sharing this incredibly delicious recipe.     I did the bulk of the cooking in the crock pot, because that's what I did & it ran out very quickly. A large cake pan, also works & it's COOLER - highly suggest using a large pan! - Once the gravy was bubbling, it was time to add the cake mix & vanilla. I did a quick (but FAVORITE) frosting over the top of the cake, then spread the crumbs all over. This is really good--delicious, French cake--a la carte but with everything you like. I did it in a 9 X 13 pan, because it was way too small for my taste (I'm 5'3"ish) & Mark's wifey and the kids were bored and decided to leave it unfinished. I ended up cutting the cake into 2-inch pieces,

So amazing! Even the person who put the dutch oven in it (heheaven forbid) tastes like this. This is AWESOME instant mashed sweet potatoes. OH so very easy. This is the first time I insert the butter and hope I haven't done it wrong. The whole world laughed at my fail clip experiment. Sorry about the clarity, I haven't my real write "butter" 😊
