2 quarts water
1/2 pound ground beef
1 1/2 cups dry white wine
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1 banana, finely chopped
2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 cup honey
salt and pepper to taste
Place ground beef, dry white wine, bell pepper, banana and potatoes in a large pot over high heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour.
Puree in small bowl mushroom and basil. Add honey and continue to simmer for 2 to 3 additional hours or until all vegetables are tender.
Serve with bread cubes in a bowl.
