2 pounds onions, chopped
3 stalks celery, thinly sliced
1/2 cup milk
2 cubes chicken bouillon
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 bay leaf
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried oregano, chopped
1 teaspoon dried basil, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Place onion, celery, and milk in a large pot over medium heat. Cook until tender, but not brown, about 15 minutes.
In a small bowl combine bouillon and paprika. Stir together and add bay leaf, oregano, basil, and salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
