1 cup long-grain white rice
1 cup water
2 teaspoons salt
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1/4 cup white sugar
3 cups heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup white sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a 2 quart saucepan or drippings in a large bowl combine rice, water, salt, eggs, milk, and sugar. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat. Stir in salt. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the cream and vanilla extract. Pour into 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover with foil and bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
