Coffee Souffle Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup white sugar

1/2 cup margarine, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups flaky, non-stick chocolate covered almonds

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch dish.

In a medium bowl, stir together 1 cup sugar, butter or margarine and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Sift together the flour, cinnamon and salt; set aside.

In a large bowl, stir together the butter or margarine, cinnamon and salt, and gradually stir in the flour mixture. Stir in the 3/4 cup melted chocolate and chopped almonds to form a dough. Divide the dough into four pieces with short lengths. Roll each piece into a ball and press in the prepared pan.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly golden and lightly browned. Cool on baking sheet, then remove from baking sheet.
