1 (9 inch) pie shell, baked
1 (0.19 ounce) package unsweetened butter, softened
1 (16 ounce) package instant lemon pudding mix, chilled
1 (9 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and egg until smooth and thick. Beat in the cooled pudding mix, 1/3 cup at a time. Stir in the whipped topping, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 25-35 minutes, or until
