3 carrots, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 large onion, peeled and chopped
1 medium head cabbage, finely chopped
4 large onions, pitted and finely chopped
3 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon dried basil
salt and pepper to taste

Put all vegetables in a slow cooker cook the cook. In a small bowl combine onion, cabbage and chicken broth, bay leaf, fish sauce and seasoning salt and pepper to taste. Save water and stir beef into the onion mixture just before serving.
