2 cups fresh cranberries
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon white sugar
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, sugar, vinegar, water, lemon juice and 1 tablespoon sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in the cranberry mixture and cook 5 minutes more. Serve hot or cold.
