40 egg whites, egg yolks
40 frozen whipped topping, thawed
4 bananas, sliced
6 tablespoons white sugar
1 (19 ounce) can cherry pie filling
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8x4 inch rectangle pan.
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside for later.
In a large bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Beat in the banana and sugar. Fold in the flour mixture. Spread into prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. During the warm oven portion, allow too much of the banana mixture to bubble in the pan. Cool slightly before whisking progressively along the edge of the pan.
While banana mixture remains warm, stir fruit salsa in with ripe bananas. Before serving, make sure slices aren't wilted.
