1 (3 pound) whole chicken
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 tablespoon dried minced celery
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute chicken in oil for about 5 minutes, or until no longer pink. Remove chicken from skillet, and pat dry.
Mix the vegetable oil, onion, celery, green bell pepper, salt, garlic powder, paprika, basil, rosemary, sage, thyme, basil, and rosemary in a small bowl. Pour mixture into skillet, and heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until chicken is no longer pink.
