Pecan Pie II Recipe

Ingredients

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

2 cups white sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1/2 cup butter, softened

2 eggs

2 cups chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in medium mixing bowl with electric mixer or hand, until smooth. Beat in butter, eggs, pecans and lemon zest.

Beat cream cheese mixture into 2 cups of the remaining cheese mixture. Stir all together. Pour mixture into crust. Place remaining 2 cups cheese mixture on top of cream cheese mixture.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until cheese mixture is bubbly. Cool slightly, and serve.
