1 (10 pound) whole chicken, cut into 1 inch cubes
2 tablespoons butter
1 (6 ounce) can honey
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
2 teaspoons dried sage
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 teaspoons dried rosemary
2 teaspoons garlic powder
Place chicken cubes in a 3 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with butter or margarine. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
While the chicken is chilling, place the honey, cornstarch, paprika, oregano, ginger, rosemary, sage, rosemary, garlic powder, thyme and garlic powder in a small bowl. Mix thoroughly.
Remove chicken from refrigerator and transfer chicken to a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour before taking a piece out of the refrigerator, if desired.
