Spiced Pork Ribs Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon dried basil

2 pounds pork loin, cut into 1 inch cubes

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 teaspoons paprika

1 cup dry water

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Directions

In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, parsley, oregano, salt, basil and pork cubes. Mix well. Shape into 1 inch cubes. Place in the refrigerator.

Stir the vinegar in a small bowl; soak the pork cubes in the vinegar mixture for at least 2 hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Fry the celery and onion cubes in olive oil until browned. Drain off the liquid. Add the celery and onion mixture to the bottom of a separate large mixing bowl.

Mix the water and baking powder. Stir into the pork and celery mixture and mix well. Pour this mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Bake uncovered, in the preheated oven, for an hour.

Meanwhile, in a separate large mixing bowl, stir the brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt into the bottom of the baking dish. Mix well. Spread molasses over the pork, celery and onion mixture. Sprinkle with the bread crumbs and mustard, and sprinkle with paprika.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for an additional half hour. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with spicy dipping sauce.
