Coconut Cream Pie VIII Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 cup white sugar

1 1/2 cups milk

3 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup chopped almonds

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup white sugar

1/2 teaspoon almond extract

1 2/3 cups chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, milk and eggs. Mix in the vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Mix in the pecans.

Drop by rounded spoonfuls into pie crust. Place into the preheated oven and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Allow to cool.
