1 cup olive oil
1/2 pound long Italian sausage
1 onion, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 cup kale, drained and chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped in food processor
1 red bell pepper, sliced into bite-sized pieces
1 cup kale, sliced into rib beads
1 (8 ounce) package garbanzo beans, drained
1/2 cup cream cheese, divided
1/2 cup onion powder
1 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook sausage, stirring occasionally until evenly brown and shredded. Chop and stir veggies into skillet (optional). Simmer about 5 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
