1 pound lean ground beef
4 large onions, chopped
1 medium carrot, chopped
1/4 cup olive oil
2 teaspoons kosher salt
5 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
2 cups iceberg lettuce
5 slices Swiss cheese
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain grease and set aside.
In a large bowl combine the onion, carrot, olive oil, salt, potatoes, lettuce, cheese and meat pie crust. Mix well. Refrigerate at least 4 hours prior to using to let flavors completely blend.
Preheat grill for high heat or lightly oil grate. Grill burgers approximately 2 minutes per side, turning up onto platters periodically.
