Fresh Dutch Apple Mincemeat Recipe

Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) can sliced apple

1 quart bourbon

1 fluid ounce triple sec liqueur

1 (6 ounce) can pineapple juice concentrate

8 (8 ounce) cans sliced fresh pineapple, drained

2 tablespoons lemon-lime soda (optional)

1 cup butter or margarine, melted

Directions

Place apples in a large pot over high heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium, and cook, stirring, until apples are tender, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and place on platter for serving.

Stir in bourbon, triple sec, pineapple juice concentrate, pineapple slices, lemon-lime soda if desired. Stir to thoroughly blend. Top with butter or margarine. Serve warm or cold.
