2 cups bread flour
1 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons lemon zest
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup milk
1 egg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (8 ounce) loaf pans.
In a large bowl, mix bread flour, sugar, lemon zest, baking soda, baking powder, salt, lemon zest and lemon juice. Stir until smooth. Fold in milk. Spread batter into 2-inch round pans.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
