Chocolate Cookie Dough Recipe

Ingredients

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup margarine

1 cup white sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Generously grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.

In a large bowl, cream together margarine and white sugar. Beat in brown sugar and egg, mixing thoroughly. Stir in vanilla and flour. Beat in baking soda, baking powder, baking soda, salt and vanilla extract. Fold in crackers.

Roll out dough into 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart onto the prepared pan. Spread cookie dough evenly over the cookies.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden and crispy. Cool before cutting into squares.
