Jalapeno Poppers Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound small shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 small onion, seeded and sliced

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 cup sliced onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chopped green bell peppers

1 teaspoon unsalted butter

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 cups milk

3 tablespoons butter

Directions

Place shrimp, onion, salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix until coated. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.

Place onion slices in a medium bowl, and pour in garlic, bell peppers, butter, and flour. Mix until coated.

Arrange bell peppers vertically on a large platter. Sprinkle with chopped onion and slice into 1/4 inch slices.

I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were amazing! My husband said this was the best deli he has ever had and I would definitely make it again. My husband and I loved it sooo much...I used soy sauce instead of water, used tofu gravlax noodles, used miso paste, used arrowroot chips, used fresh ginger, used half and half, and added another can of mushroom soup. Will make this again!!!!
