Patatas Mexican Picadas Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup uncooked green salsa

1/4 cup water

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 (12 ounce) package homemade tortillas

2 green onions, chopped

1 Mexican-style hot pepper sauce

2 tablespoons chili powder

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 pound ground beef

1/4 pound vegetable oil for frying

Directions

Place ingredients in a 1 quart resealable plastic bag; seal and crush vegetables.

Mix dry ingredients with strained vegetables and sweet salsa. Mash well.

Sprinkle over half of the vegetables; keep the rest covered to prevent sticking and to prevent burning.

Fry vegetables briefly on each side to give a nice brown color.
