Quick and Easy Banana Cake Recipe

Ingredients

3/4 cup margarine

6 eggs

1 cup white sugar

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 1/4 cups rolled oats

1 1/2 cups banana

1 banana, peel and core removed

1 cup flaked coconut

Directions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.

In a medium bowl, combine the margarine and eggs. Add the sugar, flour and cocoa, and stir until smooth. Stir in 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda and salt; add the cinnamon, nutmeg and oats; stir until well blended. Cut in the flaked coconut to make the desired shape.

In a small bowl, mixing together the rolled oats, banana, bananas, coconut and flaked coconut. Spread into the prepared pan and sprinkle with the remaining 1 1/2 cups of oatmeal.

Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before serving.
