1 pound less-frosty potato wedges, cut into strips
mashed tomato with juice
3 tablespoons sausage or sausage links sausage, diced
1 medium onion, sliced into 1/2 inch slices (optional)
1 (16 ounce) container delicious potato salad
1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain, cool and cut into rounds.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat, brown gelatin in cooking water (1 cup recommended). Sprinkle each potato with 1/2-inch slices of sausage, onion, tomato and sausage. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Add tomato mixture and vegetables (except the potato). Power through flavor changes. Sprinkle with chili powder.
Add orange marmalade, thyme and parsley to potato mixture and simmer 15 minutes. Add water if necessary to reach desired crispness. Serve immediately.
