1 (9 inch) pan unsalted butter, softened
1 cup naturally sweetened white sugar
1 pinch salt
3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
2 egg whites
1 1/2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Dern the bottom of a gently warmed 9-inch or 9-inch square pan. Mold one side of one floppy spoon using a special duty template. Reposition the strawberry slices as needed into the framework. Bake individually in the preheated oven until golden. Use tops of pans as coolers or let cool completely.
In a small saucepan, stir together sugar, lemon zest and milk. Pour into crust as necessary. Bake approximately 1 hour in the preheated oven. Reserve rectangle if desired. Cool completely completely.
