1 pound sharp processed cheese spread, sliced into 1 inch strips
1 inch thick slices celery with liquid
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 orange, sliced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 cups butter
2 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups (1 quart) milk, divided
3 egg yolks
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Spread the cheese spread thinly across a large baking sheet. Mix celery and onion into the spread, cook about 10 minutes. Add the orange slices and Worcestershire sauce to the spread, simmer 10 minutes.
Stir butter, brown sugar, salt, baking soda, milk and egg yolks into the spread. Mix together and spread over the top. Transfer to the baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.
