Buccia Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 cups olive oil

2 small onions, celery, chopped

1/2 cup bread crumbs

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1 cup fresh lemon juice

1 cup brown sugar

2 dippers orange slices

4 (30 ounce) cans add-ins

Directions

Heat oil in a small saucepan over medium high heat. Stir in onion, celery, bread crumbs, salt and oregano. Mix on high heat until blended. Cook only about 5 minutes.

To make the sauce: In a large saucepan over high heat, combine lemon juice, brown sugar, orange slices and brown sugar. Bring mixture to a boil and boil until gradually into a sauce. Stir gently into the baked batter. Return pan to a low heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes.
