Ingredients

1 bunch green onions

1 pound potatoes, peeled and cubed

1 cup beef broth

1 tablespoon white sugar

1 cup white sugar

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

salt to taste

ground black pepper to taste

3 teaspoons dried parsley

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O mix

1 (16 ounce) can pineapple juice concentrate

Directions

Place green onions in a large pot and cover with boiling water. Bring to a slow boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium heat, and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Boil for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low, and cover. Simmer 20 minutes.

While liquids are boiling, season the beef broth, sugar, and Worcestershire sauce with parsley salt and pepper. Boil 15 minutes, or overnight. Remove broth and pepper mixture from heat, and stir in pineapple juice concentrate. Bring to a full boil, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, and stir into green onions, potatoes, and beef broth mixture. Bring to a red rolling boil, stirring constantly, but do not boil. Let stew cool, then stir in pineapple juice concentrate, pineapple, and orange flavored gelatin. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in pineapple juice concentrate, gelatin, pineapple and orange flavored gelatin. Heat to simmering point.
