1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup butter, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease muffin cups or line with paper liners.
In a large bowl, fold white sugar into brown sugar until no streaks remain. Beat in egg, 1/2 cup butter, and vanilla. Beat in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Fill prepared muffin cups about 2/3 full.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
