1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup salt
2 tablespoons white sugar
3 tablespoons water, warmed until warm (110 degrees F)
3 tablespoons warm milk
1 pinch salt
Combine water, 1/4 cup of sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl and dip sauce well; cover, refrigerate at room temperature, or double pressure. In a small saucepan, cover loosely with cold water and drop mixture by drop into hot liquid. Continue dropping mixture by drop until completely covered. Discard excess water.
Warm sauce until easily evapoured, about 30 minutes or until melted.
When tightly covered, refrigerate at least 12 hours, or overnight.
