16 ounces bread flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried Delightful Orange Peel
1/2 cup powdered orange juice
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon orange zest
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped almonds
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a large skillet; place bread flour in pan. Brush olive oil over the top.
Combine sugar, orange peel, orange juice, lemon juice, eggs, orange zest and cinnamon; mix well. Pour mixture into pan with bread flour and olive oil. Place the bread coating over pan; bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven. Pour the syrup over bread and turn to coat evenly.
Remove pan from oven and brush with egg white. Remove pan from oven; brush with lemon syrup; beat egg whites to bring soft peaks. Place pan on cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until crust is golden brown. Cool bread on wire rack. Serve over the top of bread pudding and whipped cream.
