Cornbread Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups milk

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup cornbread flour

1/2 cup white sugar

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup margarine

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 8x8 inch pans.

Beat cream cheese, eggs and vanilla in small mixer bowl until light and fluffy. Carefully mix together milk, flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and cornbread flour. Blend in milk mixture, mixing until moistened. Beat in sugar and brown sugar. Fold in margarine. Spread mixture into prepared 8x8 inch pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour. Drizzle in remaining 1/2 cup margarine and sprinkle top with remaining cornbread flour. Bake an additional 20 minutes.
