1 (18 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (1.75 ounce) envelope instant vanilla cream cheese
1 (3 ounce) package instant lemon cake mix
8 eggs, beaten
1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (8 ounce) round pans. Stir together cake mix, pudding mix, cream cheese, and lemon cake mix. Divide dough into 8 pieces and shape into 1/2 inch balls. Roll one ball into a 5 inch round, and place seam-side down in prepared pan. Flatten with a fork to keep the shape.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean. Do not overbake; the center will not touch the sides of the pan. Cool completely.
Such a great recipe. Whoever submitted it ... I missed the cookies ... but the cake was gone first time around. The smell of cake and icing is heavenly. I never would have thought of this.
