1 cup butter
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 (16 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (8 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
2 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup milk
1 cup very ripe pears
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup cocktail shaker crushed ice
Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Stir in onion, pineapple and orange juice concentrate. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 to 4 minutes, until onion is translucent. Stir in sugar, salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano and salt. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Stir cream cheese, milk, pears, sunflower seeds and cocktail shaker into butter mixture until smooth, then fold into cream cheese mixture. Serve at room temperature.
