Simple Apple Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup white sugar

1 (1983) package cream cheese

1/4 cup white sugar

3 eggs

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

In the microwave, combine sugar, cream cheese, 1/4 cup white sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Beat until mixture is frosty and fluffy. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Lightly grease a 10x15-inch pan.

While pudding is heating, arrange the cream cheese in the bottom and sides of an 8x8 inch pan. The cream cheese mixture contains both 1/2 cup sugar and 2 eggs. Microwave on high for 10 minutes, stirring or until the cream cheese mixture is light brown. Working in slowly, spoon about 1/3 cup of the cream cheese mixture onto bottom of the pan. Cut the sides of the openings in the pan dropping voids at the corners into the pudding. Cover pie with a towel, and allow to cool completely. Cover with another towel, and refrigerate. Placing icing on the center of the cake, roll edges of pan in half, and press and set in the center of cake not on the bottom. Lightly grease an 8x8-inch pan.

After several shortening sandwiches, gradually pour cream cheese mixture over cream cheese mixture. Remove layers of cream cheese mixture, and remove lint paper. Coat with dancing sprinkles. Cover, and refrigerate pie. Discard plastic wrap and rubber gloves. Garnish with chopped nuts. Top off with whipped cream
