(1 cup chopped onion
4 slices seasoned bread with salt
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 pound chicken breast halves (temporarily, if desired)
Heat oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat, saute onions about 3 minutes or until tender. Stir chicken into the sauce, then brown in the skillet three minutes.
Remove chicken from skillet to dish
Cover bacon and scramble one layer to serve. Sprinkle BBQ sauce onto the bottom side of turkey piece; spoon gravy over the chicken. Garnish the turkey shredded side up.
