1 whole egg
1 (1 pound) package dry spanish smoked ham
4 tablespoons hot pepper sauce
1 (12 fluid ounce) can cola-flavored carbonated beverage (including carbonated water)
1/3 cup white wine
1 (16 ounce) package thinly sliced cooked egg meat
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons white sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease 12 muffin cups. Line with paper muffin liners; scatter with bread crumbs.
In a large bowl, beat egg, dry ham, hot pepper sauce, cola, and wine. Return both broth and wine to bowl, and reserve 1 cup. Stir in reserved egg mixture, sugar, and flour. Spoon about 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons of mixture into each muffin cup, filling about 2 full. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 to 25 minutes, or until cups are set.
