1 cup water
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup chicken broth
1 (3 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
1 cup bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
Stir ingredients into water; cover, reduce heat and simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Season with brown sugar and chicken broth; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 to 7 minutes or until chicken is tender. Mix in mushrooms, tomato paste, salt, basil, marjoram, oregano, parsley and bread crumbs. Pour mixture into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bolt with foil to prevent burning.
