1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup packed light cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
Fold the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a large mixing bowl. Stir in the eggs, 1 cup butter and sugar until well blended. Stir in the melted butter until well blended.
Grease cookie sheets. Cut the squares of chocolate chips into 1/2 inch cubes. Stir together the chocolate cookie pieces, chocolate pieces and unsalted butter.
Place cookie sheets onto single layer cookie sheets, one vertical side up. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool cookies completely before removing from cookie sheets.
