1 cup water
1/2 cup apricot preserves
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
2 cups dry milk powder
10 teaspoons vanilla extract
In a medium saucepan, combine water, apricot preserves and cream cheese. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and boil for about 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let cool.
Stir butter into the custard. Blend cream cheese into apricot creaminess. Mix sugar and milk powder into cream cheese. Gradually stir in vanilla. Pour over custard.
