7 pounds pork sausage
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound saltine crackers
2 teaspoons dried sage
6 cups milk
6 (10 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 (16 ounce) can BBQ sauce
In a large pot combine the Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic and crackers; cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. Remove the marinade.
Stir in the milk, tomato sauce and BBQ sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and pour a pan of water into the pot. Sprinkle the sausage over the top of the liquid. Cover and chill in refrigerator.
